How it works
Three steps. Then you decide.
You do not have to have the plan figured out before you call.
Tell us what your family needs
Call (650) 535-1802, or send a short note. Say who needs care and what a hard day looks like.
Talk it through
A care advisor calls you back. We talk about cost, how families pay, and whether we can help. We will tell you honestly how soon care could start.
Decide together
If we can help, we talk through a caregiver match and a schedule. If we cannot, we will say so. You do not have to decide on the first call.
Want to talk about home care?
Call us, or tell us what your family needs. We will talk it through. You do not have to decide on the phone.

What to expect
A plain conversation about your family.
Here is what the call is, and what it is not.
We ask about the day
Who needs help, what is hard, and what kind of visit would make the week easier.
We tell you what we can do
On the call we will talk about cost, how families pay privately, and whether long term care insurance might help. We will also tell you honestly how soon care could start.
You decide
You can say yes, ask more questions, or tell us it is not a fit. This website does not sign you up for care.
Who we help
Care for the person at home, and for the family arranging it.
You, arranging care
You want someone in your parent's house for the hours you cannot cover, and a person you can call when you have a question.
Your parent
Someone who wants to stay in their own home, and needs a hand with the ordinary parts of the day.
A spouse or partner
You have been the one doing the caring. You need a few hours, or a night, when someone else can be there.
How we can help
A caregiver for the parts of the day that got harder.
Personal care
Hands-on help with bathing, dressing, meals, and moving around the house safely.
Companionship
A caregiver visits to talk, share a meal, and keep your loved one company so the day is not so quiet.
Dementia care
Steady, familiar help for someone living with memory loss, built around the routine that keeps the day calm.
Overnight care
A caregiver in the home overnight, so someone is there if your loved one wakes up or needs help to the bathroom.
Respite care
Short-term coverage so the family member who has been doing the caring can rest, work, or leave the house.
Post-hospital care
Extra help at home after a hospital stay, while your loved one gets used to being back in the house.
Questions
A few answers before you call.
How much does care cost, and how do families pay?
Care is private pay. The price depends on the kind of help and how many hours you need. We will tell you the cost on the call, before you decide. If you have long term care insurance, ask us about using it. We will tell you what we can and cannot do. We will not guess a price on this page.
How soon can care start?
We will tell you honestly on the call. It depends on the help you need and whether we can staff it. We will not guess a start date on this page.
What if it is not a fit?
Tell us. If we are not the right help, we will say so on the call. If care has started and something feels off, call the same number and we will talk about what to change.
Who are the caregivers?
We will tell you exactly how we choose and match caregivers on the call. That includes what we look at before we introduce someone to your family.
Ready to talk about care at home?
