Companionship
Companionship is a person in the house: conversation, a walk, a meal together, and light help around the kitchen. It is company with a purpose.
If you are arranging care
Call if your parent is home alone more than feels right, and you want a person to stop by and share the day.
If you need care yourself
Call if the days feel quiet, meals get skipped, and you would like company in your own home.
What a visit can include
- Conversation, games, and time outside
- Meals and light housekeeping
- Reminders for the parts of the day that slip
- A familiar face on a regular schedule
Is this the right fit?
A good fit when your loved one is mostly safe alone, but loneliness and skipped meals are the worry.
This is help with daily life at home. It does not replace a doctor, a nurse, or a hospital follow-up.
